6th INTERNATIONAL ISTANBUL BALLET COMPETITION

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 6th INTERNATIONAL ISTANBUL BALLET COMPETITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 10 MAY 2024

The Directorate General of Turkish State Opera and Ballet, which is the only institutional structure presenting the art of ballet in a professional and academic framework in Türkiye and held the first Competition in 2008, is organising Istanbul International Ballet Competition for the 6th time this year.

This prestigious event shall take place between 10 – 14 June in Istanbul. The exciting performances of the shining stars from the ballet world will be presented through this important organization starting with eliminations of the Junior Semi-Finals on 10 June, the Senior Semi-Finals on 11 June and the Final Night on June 12. The eliminations will be held at the Kadikoy Sureyya Hall at 20.00.

The 6th Istanbul International Ballet Competition Award Ceremony and the Gala Night will meet the art enthusiasts on 14 June at Ataturk Cultural Center’s Turk Telekom Opera Hall and an internationally renowned jury and star artists will be on stage.

The application deadline for the Competition has been extended to 10 May 2024. We send our best wishes to all artists who will compete in this distinguished organization and eagerly look forward to witnessing the emergence of future ballet stars.
